ABAA Student Leadership Scheme: 2015 New Leaders Training Camp "Learn2Lead" (2015-05-29)
This is my first time to do the Personality Dimensions Assessment. My dominant colors were blue, it means that I am an outgoing and convincing person who love to talk with others and build relationship with friends.
The person of blue colour is very friendly to everyone and love to communicate with others. Therefore, I like group work and be the intermediary to link up everyone in a group. If any communication problem appear, I would be the mediator to comfort the feeling of groupmates and think solution of the problem.
In this assessment, I also learn that the character of different colour, it help me to know more about how to deal with the people from different colour. For example, the people of golden colour they love planing and organzing, so we can not be a deadline fighter in a presentation, otherwise they may feel confused to cooperate with you.
Last year, I am just a receiver, sitting there and absorbing the experiences that our seniors and teachers provided to us in the boot camp 1. However, a commendable chance of being an organizer to share and contributes came to my front in this year.
I am so pleasure to meet the year one freshmen. As a senior leader of the year 1 students, I can humbly share my experiences in CCCU to them, discussing how to overcome the difficulties in year 1 study and how to change the attitude in studying in CCCU.
Moreover, during giving guidance and giving a helping hand to people, I can really build up my confidence in sharing my opinion in front of the public. The camp is not just helping the year 1 freshmen to get into their new life in CCCU but bring a new journey of discovering my own talent in organizing events, time and people.
